The Sentinel Triathlon is a non-profit event. Last year the race donated $100,000 from this event! Proceeds from the event are donated to the Santa Cruz County High School athletic programs, UC Santa Cruz Swim Program, Cabrillo College athletic program, Santa Cruz Track Club, Santa Cruz Triathlon Association and Long Marine Lab. Each program received a donation. Students from all the institutions who receive money from the race act as volunteers on the different courses. They appreciate your participation in this event!!
